Our highly skilled, qualified, and experienced team have come to form a family unit in which Fastform Group Australia prides itself on, establishing foundations of working unitedly in the direction of excellence. Every team is only as great as the individual sum of its members and at Fastform Group Australia we are proud to announce that our combined executive experience exceeds 200 years.
We specialise in works ranging from low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise apartments and mixed developments, as well as residential, commercial and retail developments for many of New South Wales’s most prominent builders and developers. We have a strong commitment to safety and quality, and our team is passionate about delivering the highest standards of service to our clients.

History
Since 1998, Fastform has built a strong reputation in Sydney for expertise in formwork, steel fixing, and concrete placement.
1998
A Humble Beginning
Hamas Joud arrives in Australia from Lebanon in the late 1980s, an enthusiastic and ambitious 26-year-old, keen to build on his carpentry skills. After a decade of hands-on experience on a variety on construction projects, Hamad takes the bold step of branching out on his own, establishing Fastform in 1998.
2000-2002
Early Steps, Lasting Impact
What begins with a small team working on 50-unit projects in Bankstown - managing around 5,000 square metres of formwork - quickly gains traction. As demand grows, Hamad invests in additional materials and broadens his services, securing larger projects in Lane Cove (Meadowbrook development), Marrickville (Wicks Place project) and Liverpool.
2005-2008
Growing Together
Fastform evolves into a booming family business. Over the course of 15 years, carpentry apprentices grow into foremen and site managers - many of whom remain with the company to this day. This consistency has helped shape a strong internal culture and build lasting partnerships with core clients including Coronation Property, Binah, Deicorp and JQZ.
2011-2012
Building Bigger
By 2017, the Fastform team now comprises over 350 people. Hamad secures the major urban renewal project with Parkview known as Melrose Park. The $60M project features 156 one, two- and three-bedroom apartments across two buildings, called Pulse and Pavilion.
2013-2014
Relationship with JQZ
While working on-site, Tarek meets Tong Group (later to become JQZ) founder, Jianqiu Zhang, who offers him a job for his upcoming development - a 47 unit in Cowper St. This development includes 2 towers, 9 levels, and 2 basements. Over the years, Fastform and JQZ together create some of Sydney’s biggest projects, including the $1.7 billion build in St. Leonards, North Sydney.
2014-2021
Building a portfolio and legacy
Today, Fastform remains a family and community-based organisation, priding itself on an unequivocally outstanding reputation and leadership in its industry. Hamad has proudly trained the generation ready to lead Fastform in offering Sydney’s best professional residential and commercial building formwork, steel fixing and concrete placement service providers.
