Feed the World is an initiative launched by the LMA with a legacy of over 50 years of service to the Australian community and humanitarian work globally. Our work extends beyond food packs. The board and team are motivated by true impact to the lives of beneficiaries in Lebanon and abroad – by helping them build a future we are truly feeding the world.
It is our mission to be instruments of positive change through impactful projects and to deliver aid in the most efficient way. We are specialised in the work we do whether it be across programs, geographic regions or technology utilisation and adoption. By partnering with like-minded effective organisations we are able to make long distances short and achieve more impactful aid delivery.
These are more than just words on a page to us. This is our foundation, the very ethos which guides all that we do. From how we market our work, to the projects we choose to implement, how projects are designed, the language we use and more.
Food sovereignty as a concept transcends just access to food. It means communities have the power to grow, source, and share food in ways that are local, sustainable, and uphold their dignity.
For Feed the World, this is the long-term goal: Not just feeding people today, but building systems that let them feed themselves tomorrow, on their terms.
